Wayne Holman, MD

Dr. Wayne Holman, Founder and CEO of Ridgeback Capital, co-founder of Ridgeback Biotherapeutics, and Co-Chair of the Ridgeback-Merck Molnupiravir Joint Steering Committee, has dedicated over two decades to funding more than 100 biopharma companies. His support has been crucial in advancing the development of groundbreaking medicines for individuals with unmet medical needs. A licensed physician, Dr. Holman is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine, with an undergraduate degree in economics from Yale University. He serves as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Health and holds a position on their Board of Trustees. He is also a member of the University of Miami Board of Trustees.. Residing in Miami, he shares his life with his wife, four children, and three dogs.
